Hey! I’m Madison, an Australian textile designer based in London. I recently graduated from a BA (Hons) in Textile Design at Chelsea College of Arts, specialising in weave.
I designed the Maddy Madison collection of bandanas as a silent protest to spark conversations on topics such as mental health and gender equality. Each design tells a story and is for anyone who wants to get around using an everyday fashion accessory to raise awareness.
The Pussy Paisley motif is used as a way to make a subtle statement of feminism and break down the masculine overtones associated with bandanas themselves using feminine ideas of sexuality. I encourage not only women, but those from all walks of life to make a statement through something as simple as their clothing.
