Madison McGlennon is an Australian creative based in London, recently graduating from a BA in Textile Design at Chelsea College of Arts, specialising in weave.
Madison produced the Maddy Madison collection of bandanas as a silent protest to spark conversations on topics such as mental health and gender equality. Each design tells a story and is for anyone who wants to get around using an everyday fashion accessory to raise awareness.
The Pussy Paisley motif used throughout her designs is a way to make a subtle statement of feminism and break down the masculine overtones associated with bandanas themselves using feminine ideas of sexuality. The bandanas encourage not only women, but those from all walks of life to make a statement through something as simple as their clothing.
